I've developed an English as a Foreign Language teaching strategy called the Visionary English Learning System (VELS) that utilizes advanced technology. The VELS covers key areas such as grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening, phonetics, and functional phrases. The approach starts with an overview of the chosen subject, highlighting its importance. It incorporates examples, gap-fill activities, simulated dialogues, and a brief narrative. To evaluate students' understanding, I incorporate a concept-checking Q&A. The session concludes with conversation prompts designed to motivate learners to apply the competencies acquired during the lesson in real-life scenarios.

Hello from sunny California, situated in the bustling San Francisco Bay Area! My name is Andrew, and I am a Canadian by birth who moved to the lively West Coast of the United States during childhood. I've navigated through construction, insurance, and IT sales careers, which allows me to tie English lessons to various settings, enhancing my grasp of the language across different sectors.
Outside the virtual classroom, you might catch me enjoying a round of golf, immersing in the beauty of California, cycling in nature, or exchanging tales with my fantastic wife, an inspirational figure for middle school students.
My approach to teaching is organic, captivating, and centered on everyday conversations, storytelling, and social interactions, akin to how native speakers naturally learn the language.
